Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth aka Kendrick Lamar, blew up on the rap scene in the past year. he is an american rapper that writes poetry in his songs. Lamar is one of the best, if not the best, lyrical rapper to ever pick up the mic. With the lyrics he puts in his songs describe the strongest emotions that range from guilt to joy. Once Lamar sighned to Top Dawg Entertainment, which is known as TDE, he started to blossom in the rap game. he started putting out killer mixtapes featuring some of the best underground rappers like Ab-soul, Jay-rock, and Big K.R.I.T. In 2012 lamar and TDE sighned a venture deal with Aftermath and Interscope records.

Born in Compton, LA June 17 1987, the 25 year old had a hard time growing up but describes it as a beautiful but rugged. after the events that occured in his younger life, lamar turned to poetry as an escape from the real world. later on after developing crazy rhyming skills, Kendrick worked his way to rap. then after taking it serious he got sighned and pu out Albums such as; good kid, M.A.A.D. city, Section8.0, KendrickLamar, and Overly Dedicated.

Lamar won multiple awards for his hit song “swimming pools” awards such as MTVs lyrical artist of the year and best lyrical song. after dominating his preformance at the MTV Music Awards, lamar made is mark. Everyone knew who he was and his album good, kid M.A.A.D. city went number 1 on itunes and on amazon. so ever since he made his apperence as the underdog from compton with insane lyrics, lamar changed the face of the rap game. And he is just getting started.

Creatine is naturally produced in the body from amino acids mostly in the kidney and liver. it is transported in the blood for muscles. 95% of the human body’s creatine is located in the skeletal muscle. creatine is a combitation of 3 diffrent amino acids; arginine, glycine, and methionine. it provides the enrgy our muscle’s need to move, mostly for quick and explosive movements.

research shows that creatine is effective in improving training intensity and recovery. it is able to pass through the stomach and into the bloodstream intact and upon entering the muscle cells, is converted into creatine phosphate.

consuming a great amount of creatine can waste the creatine also. for a 220 lifter, this means if he consumed 10gs of creatine 46% of that creatine is wasted. creatine being consumed can also kill of some of the creatine naturally being made in your body. so the more you take, most likley, its the more you loose too.

Creatine is basically water to your muscles. when your getting tired after running or working out what do you drink? water. with your muscles, its the same thing, when they get tired the creatine producecs the water to keep them going wich makes them not tire easily. thats why the use of creatine is for the higher instensity level of your workout. but too much of this “Special” water can be bad for you. the intake of creatine can amage the natural made creatine in your body wich is more effective. this is why i would recomend to not use creatine. even though the results will look amazing, the effects it will have in your body will not be.

Pretty sweet is the new skate video that girl skateboards has been working on for a while now. everyone in the skate comunityis stoked for this video dropping. the instesity of this video is insane. critics call it a “must see film” and “one of the greatest since the beast”.

the beast was another girl chocolate video that was published a few years back and it was debatable on how good it was and it was voted one of the best skate videos that girl has but in out there in the modern day skateboarding.

pretty sweet includes a bunch of bails and bloopers that make the film have a sence of humor to it. the film has a bunch of extras that are just as amazing as the actuall film. the film is about 2 and a half hours long and the extras are about and hour and 45 minutes long. so as you can tell the skating in this video is insane. i know it must of been so difficult to edit this video becuase there was just so much bangers that could have bben in the original film but were in the extras.

the amazing skating in this video are by the some of the best skateboarders in the world like Malto, Mike Mo, Howard, Koston etc. this video is so complex becuase of all the diffrentt types of skateboading thats put into this video. the film is so dynamic that you wouldnt even be able to tell who had the better part or who shreded the spot better becuase of the amount of difficult tricks that where landed and filmed is just absolutley ridiculous.

the film in clude these skaters that shred like no other:
Eric Koston
Sean Malto
Marc Johnson
Elijah Berle
Jesus Fernandez
Brian Anderson
Mike Carroll
Alex Olson
Stevie Perez
Gino Iannucci
Daniel Castillo
Chris Roberts
Justin Eldridge
Kenny Anderson
Brandon Biebel
Jeron Wilson
Mikemo Capaldi
Raven Tershy
Cory Kennedy
Vincent Alvarez
Chico Brenes
thanks to all you guys and your hard work. i know this video pays of becuase it is truly amazing. you guys did and awsome job!!!

Sean Malto was born in leavenworth, Kansas in 1989. he began skateboarding in the late 90’s with his big brother. in june, 2008 malto turned pro with etnies and girl skateboards when he was the age of 20.

in 2009 transworld awarded malto with the Rookie Of the Year award. and in 2010, the following year, malto was nominated for the Readers Choice award.

Sean has enjoyed success in 2010, earning 3rd in both the copenhagen pro and the Maloof Money Cup, NYC. Also in the 2nd stop of the 2010 Street League, malto placed 1st.

malto has had a pro attitude and had crazy skillls since he was only 13. really nothing compared to nyjah huston who won tampa pro AM when he was only 10. or to ryan sheckler who turned pro at 13. but malto didnt grow up in a known town for skaeboarding like san clamente or the valley.

some say malto is a freak of nature. he has unbelievable consistency when it comes to difficult tricks like nollie nose bluts or witch kickflip crooked grinds. when you watch malto skate, he makes it look like a baby can do it. he is just so smooth and does everything with ease. but there is no doubt Malto is one of the greatest skater out there. he even has the 2011 street league championship to prove it.

the Oklahoma city thunder have one of the best offenses in the league. they score a little over 110 points every 100 possesions. the only thing bad about there offense is they turn the ball over allot, 15.8 times a game and with a 14.7 turnover ratio. The idea of the Thunder not turning it over is frightening because they’re already one of the most greatest scoring outfits in the league even with their problems handling the ball.

So it’s likely that the Los Angeles Lakers were not prepared for what the Thunder accomplished on tuesday night. the okc won with a calm and comfortable lead 122-105. OKC only turned over the ball 2 times. this ties the NBA record that was set by the milwuakee bucks against the indiana pacers in april 2006. And with  the cleavland cavaliers against the portland trail blazers in march 2009.

OKCs first mistake occurred on the first possession of the second quarter when Kevin Martin threw a pass to Ronnie Brewer along the baseline that deflected off Brewer and out of bounds.. Yet Brewer, Nick Collison, and OKC coach Scott Brooks didn’t even think this play should have been  a turnover. Somehow, the Thunder didn’t their second and final turnover until the 5:05 mark of the fourth quarter when Russell Westbrook, who was otherwise stellar with 37 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, shuffled his feet for a travel.

this game was played at a fast pace, the Thunder regularly beating the Lakers down the court for transition baskets. It’s not as if this was a slow game were the Thunder tried to shorten their mistakes by limiting the number of possessions. even though history suggests that style leads to more turnovers relative to pace.

committing only two turnovers is a mark of a terrific night, but it’s also a serious aberration. the Lakers are very bad at forcing turnovers but they’re only separated from the Clippers, the top team, by 3.6 turnovers.Just by virtue of playing against another professional team an nba squad is usually going to turn the ball over in the double digits. Making two mistakes even against a bad defense has to involve a lot of luck.

after a couple of months after malto’s contract with etnies expired. everyone was wondering where he was going to land. but as of first of the new year, he sighned to Nike SB. Malto joined Nike SB after an amazing year winning the 2011 street leugue series.

malto turned pro at age 20 backed by GIRL skateboarding co.  we was crowned rookie of the yearby transworld skateboarding magazine his very first year as a pro. as well as also being the Reader’s Choice best pro of the year by transworld the next year.

when asked about joining nike sb malto replied “I’ve always been a fan of Eric Koston and Paul Rodriguez. Being on the same team as them is truly amazing. Plus, Nike has always been the leading brand in sports, with the most incredible athletes past and present—including my favorites Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant. It’s just an honor to be associated with a company like Nike. I feel like we can do awesome things in and for skateboarding!”

malto is currently working hard for an awsome part in the new girl and chocolate video. malto will then start filming for the future film of the SB chronicles following it completion. malto is one of the most down to earth and consistent skateboarders that there is. and Nike SB is definetly one of the most consisten and down to earth companies so if you ask me its a match made in heaven.

malto is 22 years old and lives in Kansas City, MO. he grew up in Kansas City his whole life. his first sponsor ever was his local skateshop Escapist. Malto shows Kansas City pride wherever he goes. he even one the street league seriers in his Kansas City Chiefs-Escapist shirt.and there is no other place to bring that KC pride than Nike SB.

Manti Te’o is a Heisman trophy runner up and it was his firs time on the field since losing the BCS Championship to Alabama. the linebacker was clocked in at 4.82 seconds yesterday at the 40 yard dash.  Mike Mayock said that anything under  4.7 would be “phenomenal” and anything 4.8 or over would be a “concern”.

this workout came about just over a moth since the scandal with his online girlfriend and stated he was a victim of the scandal. ever since then he has done many interviews and took questions Saturday, which was one of the craziest scenes the NFL Combine has ever seen. Reporters crowded around the podium just to hear Te’o talk about the incident one more time.

now people say that this was part of the reason he wasn’t playing at his best in the BCS championship. and now they say it is affecting him in the NFL combine. he said that that scandal did not affect that game, and he just fell short of his goals, and not just in the 40 yard dash.

his vertical jumps was 33 inches. the positional best was 41 1/2 inches set by S. Miss. Jamie Collins. he jumped 133 inches in the broad jump. he finished the 3 cone drill in 7.13 seconds. the best was 6.71 set by Missouri’s Zavier Gooden. and he completed the 40 yard shuttle in 4.72 seconds, again way behind Goodens 4.18.

After the workout Te’o told NFL Network that he could of done better and he will at next months Pro Day workout at Notre Dame. another big concern about Te’o was his strength. he opt. out the Bench Press and the 60 yard shuttle and didn’t finished among the top 5 of his position in any of them. well Te’o was looked at as a first round pick and preformed as a third round pick. Hopefully he will step his game up at the Pro Day Workout.

The Nike Roshe run has an amazing design that gives a free run look and feel to the shoe but more simple than the free run. the full mesh on the upper gives a crazy breathe ability  for air coming in and out after every step you take. the rubber waffle out-sole has great traction with a cool retro looking design also. ever since the roshes have came out they have been a hit, selling out in every store available and sweeping through shelves online still to this day

it is very rare to find a good majority of roshe runs today. most are online, very few are in stores, and if they are its either limited release or an exclusive. but back to the design. Phylon mid-sole and Solar-soft sock liner for lightweight cushioning is insane. most people describe it as walking on air or hovering over the ground. but this shoe was not made for running even though the design gives of that type of vibe.

but no the roshe run is a shoe made for walking in casually to wear any were. most roshes have a very vibrant color or unique colorway that you would not see on most shoes. the latest release of the roshe run in men is the the Graphic detail. the graphic detail also gives of a vibrant look as well as being casual.

i have a pair of my own roshes and i love them. yes ofcourse i wear them every were and would wear them to bed if i have to. they are just so comfy and light. it feels like your walking on clouds barefoot. the great thing about roshes are you can wear them with anything. you can wear them out to dinner with some nice jeans and a button down. or you can just wear them casually out in the afternoon with some cargos or boardshorts with a tee.

the nike roshe run has a 5 star review and there is no doubt in that category. now the hunt for these is a diffrent story. to find these you will have to resort to about 3-4 diffrent websites including ebay and nike. aall the other stores they relaesed in are all gone, in stores and online. but nike also has a limited amount and limited designs. ebay has a majority but most of them are used so, to find these brand new out the box is very difficult these days. but overall the nike roshe run is a spectacular shoe. nike was really successful on this one.

Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, in  fall of 2011, talked in the small common room in the midtown offices of RCA subdivision Polo Grounds. The then-23-year-old had just signed his major-label deal and was preparing the release of his first mixtape, LIVELOVEA$AP. After fielding questions from rap bloggers all afternoon, he was drooped over an armchair and grinning non-stop.

Now, it’s December 2012, and sitting in a glitzier conference room in RCA parent company Sony’s main building, 25 blocks uptown. Rocky is running a bit behind schedule. When he arrives, the rapper born Rakim Meyers sounds distressed as he plots where he’ll stay in his hometown that evening– trendy hotel names and $2,000-per-night figures are thrown around.

Still, not everything has changed since he last spoke. Dressed in all-black designer clothes, Rocky speaks with the same blend of cheeky arrogance and wide-eyed idealism that originally earned him a spotlight. He’s still passionate to the point of anger when it comes to fashion trends. “I don’t mess with Givenchy right now,” he says sternly. He’s still a vegetarian. Well, almost. “I’m a pescatarian because I eat fish,” he tells me, “but I don’t eat meat– hell no.”

And he’s still incredibly self-serious about his role in the industry: “I’m an artiste,” he says without a smidge of sarcasm before explaining, again, that he wants to start a revolution, to be the person who inspires all human beings to accept one another. And like the last time he talked, he’s giddy with a sense of accomplishment. He’s just completed, signed, and sealed his commercial debut, the long-delayed Long.Live.A$AP.

Long.Live.A$AP album review.

It’s been a long road to release for the ASAP frontrunner. October 31st, 2011 was the day in which we received the critically applauded Live. Love. ASAP mixtape. As beloved as it is unforgettable, the project essentially solidified the idea of ASAP Rocky being an artist worth your attention moving into the new year however, as 2012 came and went, the Harlem native came up relatively short. Touring, assisting in numerous features, collaborating with his ASAP Mob on a mixtape (in which he was rarely seen), releasing videos and a couple of singles helped keep the 24 year old afloat, but it could not veil the painfully obvious: a series of release date push backs (including September 11th and October 31st , the anniversary of his Live.Love.ASAP project) led most to believing Rakim Mayers wasn’t in an ideal position and even worse, the CD wouldn’t be worth hearing. Following this nearly hopeless outlook on the scenario, the date was finally set and the album Long.Live.ASAP was to arrive on January 15th, 2013. Not including the fact that the project prematurely leaked to the world wide web a month before the project’s release, the deck is stacked against Rocky’s debut album, but is Rocky’s effort enough to put the doubt to rest? The answer is a resounding yes.

ASAP Rocky’s debut deserves all of it’s praise. From the introduction (which serves as the title track) to tracks like “Pain”, the idea that the artist has sonically evolved from his previous effort is met with creative lyricism and grander, finer instrumentals in the lane of his past work but more imaginative. Production here is innovative and daring, coming from those within the ASAP camp and guests alike.

Certain tracks take hold with a unique edgy appeal such as the techno infused “Wild for the Night” but one of the best efforts is the 90’s inspired posse track named after New York transportation “1 Train.” Featuring the likes of Joey Badass, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown and more of the raised up and comers, this record hits as hard as the artists who grace it, all proceeding to dismantle the Hit-Boy produced cut.
